Who is eligible to register for CPD courses?

Registration is open to ECDA-certified educators who hold the required LON Certification status and are tagged to the Occupational Titles listed for the specific course.

How do I start my registration application?

Before applying at cpd.klc.edu.sg, check that your centre’s HQ has already set up a company account with centre(s) in our system. Registration cannot proceed without this in place.

Question 3

What funding or subsidies are available?

Accepted Answer

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents may receive subsidies from the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) of 50% to 70%. For more funding details, please go to the “Training Partners Gateway” website and search under "Training Grants". You may also search "General Enquiry for Training Partners Gateway" to check the eligibility status before applying; this helps avoid rejected applications due to unmet funding criteria. The final amount payable is determined upon grant eligibility and approval by SWDA. Foreigners are eligible for a 40% subsidy from ECDA, capped at $140 per course.

What are the delivery modes for CPD courses?

CPD courses are delivered either online or face-to-face at the address provided. Course information is provided for reference only and is based solely on information supplied by KLC International Institute Pte Ltd. Full details will be shared with participants in the "Workshop Information" email under "Step 2: Attend the Workshop".

When and how will I receive my class details?

The course details and instructions are sent directly to participants by “Workshop Information” email and SMS at least 1 week before the course starts.

Question 6

How is attendance taken during the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Attendance is taken digitally using the SingPass app. Please download and set up the app on your mobile device before attending your session.

Question 7

How do I access Canvas for my course materials and learner notes?

Accepted Answer

You will receive a Canvas course invitation by email at least 5 days before the course starts. You will not be able to log in until you have received and accepted this invitation, which must be done before class starts.

What should I do if I’m having trouble logging into Canvas?

Accepted Answer

Contact the CPD Programme Administrator listed in your “Workshop Information” email immediately, with a screenshot of the error.

Question 9

Can I still log in to Canvas after the course ends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your Canvas account remains active for 3 days after the course ends. We encourage you to download any learning materials within this period before your account is deactivated.

Question 10

I couldn’t acknowledge my Assessment Results in Canvas — what happens?

Accepted Answer

If you are unable to acknowledge your Assessment Results within the provided timeline, the system will automatically mark them as "agreed." No further action is required.

Question 11

When will I receive my Certificate of Completion, and how do I check my CPD hours?

Accepted Answer

Your certificates will be available 30 calendar days after the course ends, provided all post-course processing, attendance verification, and assessment uploads/acknowledgements are completed. For One@ECDA-endorsed courses, you may log in directly to the ONE@ECDA portal to download your official e-certificate and check your CPD hours.

How do I cancel or withdraw from a course?

As all courses are highly subsidised, cancellations and withdrawals must be processed at least 21 days before the class start date, and the CPD person in charge must be contacted. If this notice period is not met, the centre/participant must provide a replacement educator, with the relevant LON Certification Status and Occupational Titles tagging, who has not previously attended the course, upon receiving the Confirmation Letter. If a replacement cannot be provided, the full course fee at the non-subsidised rate will be charged.
